These community dance classes are designed to make dance accessible and enjoyable for everyone, from complete beginners to experienced dancers. Unlike formal dance training programs that often focus on technique and progression, these classes emphasize inclusivity, social connection, fun, creativity, and physical activity. By incorporating both individual improvisation and group exploration, participants can discover new movement vocabulary, expand their expressive possibilities, boost self-confidence, find a safe space for emotional release, and experience a sense of belonging and cooperation while working with others. This unique combination helps participants connect with others, express themselves freely, and experience the transformative power of dance in a welcoming, supportive environment.

MATTHIEU
RAINBOW
MULTIDISCIPLINARY PERFORMER ARTISTIC DIRECTOR
Matthieu Rainbow is a multidisciplinary artist using the performing arts to foster social change, challenge cultural narratives, and inspire self-transformation. He holds a Master’s degree in Performing Arts (2017) and a Bachelor’s in Dance (2015) from Paris 8 University. With more than 15 years of experience working between Europe and Africa, Matthieu has developed a transcultural perspective on art-making. In addition to his creative work, Matthieu teaches yoga and facilitates dance workshops that encourage self-discovery, acceptance, community building, and holistic wellness through movement.
Matthieu likes to think of the body as a site of endless possibilities to deconstruct and reimagine identity. This philosophy is reflected in the many dance styles and artistic practices he has studied, including contemporary dance, Vogue, Krump, Butoh, West African Dance, Theatre, and Singing. His work blends genres, flirts with both popular and experimental aesthetics, and embraces multiplicity and vulnerability through poetic, oniric, and thought-provoking performances.
